Individual and Family
Dental Blue PPO
Dental Blue PPO provides coverage up to a $1000 or $1500 benefit period maximum for preventive, basic and major dental care needs. You are immediately eligible for preventive care dental services (i.e. oral exams, cleanings and x-rays), basic dental services (i.e. fillings and extractions) after a six-month waiting period is satisfied, and major dental services (i.e. root canals, periodontics, crowns, bridges, dentures) after a 12-month waiting period is satisfied.
You may maximize your dental benefit dollars by seeking dental services from a dentist who is preferred provider organization (PPO) provider with Blue Cross of Idaho.
Medicare and Over 65
Classic Blue - Medicare Supplement
An affordable plan designed to meet your preventive dental needs. Exams, cleanings and x-rays are included in this coverage. Save money by choosing a preferred provider organization (PPO) dentist, who has agreed to offered covered services at or below established maximum allowances. You must be enrolled in a Blue Cross of Idaho medical Medicare supplement plan to purchase Classic Blue.
Classic Blue Dental - Over 65
An affordable plan designed to meet your preventive dental needs. Exams, cleanings and x-rays are included in this coverage. Save money by choosing a preferred provider organization (PPO) dentist, who has agreed to offered covered services at or below established maximum allowances. You must be age 65 or older and a resident of Idaho to enroll in Classic Blue Dental.
Group
Basic Blue Dental
Basic Blue Dental is our low cost dental care option. It provides your employees with benefits for preventive and basic care services. Major care services are not covered, which keeps premiums up to 30% lower than our other dental care products.
Deductible Dental
With Deductible Dental, you can provide your employees with coverage for preventive and basic care services in addition to major services such as crowns and bridgework.
