Blue Solutions

Blue Solutions is a managed care program that focuses on coordinating your employees’ overall health care through a Primary Care Physician (PCP). Your employees will need to choose a PCP when they enroll in Blue Solutions. PCPs provide preventive care and immunizations, manage many chronic conditions and treat minor illnesses and injuries. They may also offer maternity care and minor outpatient surgery. Your employees will also appreciate that they do not need a referral from their PCP to seek care from contracting providers.

Blue Solutions offers low copayments for in-network PCP and non-PCP office visits, certain diagnostic services and outpatient mental health. Most other services are covered by coinsurance once the member has met their deductible. Out-of-network services are covered by a higher coinsurance and deductible amounts. Wellness visits are not covered out-of-network.

There are six distinctive plans available with Blue Solutions. Although each plan covers the same services and procedures, there are differences in copayment amounts, deductibles and out-of-pocket limits. The plan you choose will determine your group’s premium.
