HMOBlue®

We are pleased to offer HMOBlue as part of our broad range of options for health care coverage. Members have access to our statewide managed care network, including general practice physicians, medical specialists, hospitals and facilities.

When your employees enroll in HMOBlue, they will select a Primary Care Physician (PCP). The PCP will work with them to coordinate their overall care. PCPs may be chosen from our list of contracted general practitioners, family practitioners, internists, pediatricians, and obstetricians and gynecologists.

PCPs provide preventive care and immunizations, medical management of many chronic conditions, as well as treatment for minor illnesses and injuries. Many PCPs offer maternity care and minor outpatient surgery as well. Members of our managed care plans do not need a referral from their PCP to seek care from in-network contracting providers.

HMOBlue is our richest managed care plan with low copayments available for most services received from in-network providers. There are four distinct plans to choose from with variable options for PCP and non-PCP copayments.
