Additional Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Information
Beneficiaries must continue to pay their Part B premium
If you qualify for extra help with your Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plan costs, your premium and drug costs will be lower. When you join True Blue, Secure Blue or Flexi Blue, Medicare will tell us how much extra help you are getting. Then, we will let you know the amount you will pay. If you aren’t getting any extra help, you can see if you qualify by calling:
800-MEDICARE (800-633-4227), TTY/TDD users should call (877) 486-32048
Your State Medicaid Office, or the Social Security Administration at (800) 772-1213 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., Monday-Friday. TTY/TDD users should call (800) 325-0778.
If you are enrolled in a Medicare Advantage coordinated care (HMO or PPO) plan or a Medicare PFFS plan that includes Medicare Part D prescription drug coverage, you may not enroll in a Part D prescription drug (PDP) plan unless you disenroll from the HMO, PPO, or MA PFFS plan.
Medicare Prescription Drug Benefit is only available to members of the Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug (MA-PD) plan.
