Do I file my own claims?
No. As a True Blue member you have virtually no paperwork. You simply present your membera plan members can afford both when they are well and when they are in need of medical care. For example, we ensure that you do not incur charges for lab work, durable medical equipment, inpatient admissions, outpatient services and preventive services. With this in mind, the sharing of small copayments among all members helps us to maintain a low premium, have no deductibles and no coinsurance.
What if my doctor is not in the True Blue network?
True Blue does not pay for services provided by non-contracting, or “out-of-network”, providers without an authorization. True Blue's network has more than 2,000 providers. We encourage you to check our online provider directory or call Customer Service for a current directory listing.

Will I need a prior authorization?
True Blue encourages you to seek advice from your Primary Care Provider when considering a medical service. By pre-determining certain covered services, True Blue can guarantee that the service meets Medicare criteria and follows plan rules. This process is known as prior authorization. This authorization provides you with assurance in advance that if you are eligible upon the date of service, True Blue will pay for the services rendered.
Prior authorization also alerts the care management team to assist you with arrangements and coordination of your care so that you don’t have to worry about the details.
Will I make copayments?

Yes. True Blue offers an additional Travel benefit. True Blue covers office visits, preventive services, lab and diagnostics services anywhere in the United States without an authorization. There is a $3,000 per calendar year limit. Remember this is in addition to emergency and urgent care services available world-wide.
