Sally Jeffcoat began work as President and CEO at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, Boise, in early June 2009.
Sally is a highly accomplished leader in faith-based, Catholic Healthcare. Her impressive leadership record includes both strategic and operational success on a wide variety of complex issues including: physician alignment, clinical program growth, service quality, community needs, and care of the poor and underserved.
Most recently, Sally served as the Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer, Healthcare Operations, for Ascension Health. Prior to assuming system responsibility, from 2003 to 2007 Sally was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Carondelet Health Network based in Tucson, Arizona, encompassing four hospitals and 851 beds. Earlier in her career, Sally held CEO positions at faith-based hospitals and at for-profit hospitals in Texas, including six years with Christus Health as the President and CEO of St. Joseph Hospital in Houston, a 792 bed tertiary teaching hospital. Sally received her bachelor's and her master's degrees in nursing from the University of Texas. She is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
