Jo Anne Stringfield
Jo Anne Stringfield has been a Human Resources and Finance consultant since 2008 and has been participating in the integration of Capario, Inc., a Marlin Equity investment, since October 2008.
Jo Anne was appointed Vice President of Human Resources of Micron Technology, Inc. in April 2001 and served in that position until May 2007. Micron is a leading worldwide provider of semiconductor solutions. Prior to this appointment, Jo Anne served as Vice President of Administration of Micron Electronics, Inc. a company which marketed, designed, manufactured and sold personal computers through direct sales channels since January 1997. She also served as corporate secretary of Micron Electronics from July 1996 until her appointment at Micron Technology. She joined the Micron family in 1984 and served in various finance and administrative positions until joining Micron Electronics in 1995. During her time with Micron, Jo Anne has been involved with several business and financing transactions, including due diligence, negotiation, documentation and integration of those transactions. Some of the transactions included: the formation of IMFT, a joint venture between Intel and Micron; the reverse merger of Micron Computer and Micron Customer Manufacturing Services in to Zeos International Ltd, resulting in the formation of Micron Electronics, Inc.; the acquisition of Photobit, which was the foundation of Micron’s CMOS Imaging business; and numerous other transactions.
Jo Anne received a bachelor of business administration degree with a major in accounting from the University of Idaho in 1981. After graduation, she worked for Boise Cascade as an internal auditor prior to joining Micron.
Jo Anne serves on the Board of Directors for Blue Cross of Idaho, a $1.4 billion health care insurance and wellness company in Boise, Idaho. She has been a member of the Audit, Marketing, Compensation, and Nomination and Governance Committees and currently serves as the chairman of the Nomination and Governance Committee.
Jo Anne is a member of the University of Idaho College of Business and Economics Advisory Board. She also served on the Board of Directors of the North Nampa Urban Renewal Agency and the Idaho Association of Commerce and Industry.
