Our provider administrative policies contain information regarding claims submission, reimbursement, and other information in order to achieve an efficient relationship with our providers. These policies are not an authorization or explanation of benefits. Blue Cross of Idaho retains the right to add to, delete from and otherwise modify this policy in accordance with our provider contracts


Online Remittance Advice

We post remittance advices on our website every Monday. Simply log in to the secure provider portal and select ‘Remittance Information' to view a current or previous Blue Cross, Federal Employee Program (FEP), Commercial Managed Care or Medicare Advantage remittance advice. If your office receives an electronic 835, that process will remain unchanged.

We encourage all providers to register for electronic funds transfer (EFT). This electronic payment process offers you many benefits, including:

  • Automatic deposits of your weekly remittance payments into your bank account.
  • Automatic weekly EFT payment voucher via email.
  • Automatic payments posted to your account on Wednesdays, with the exception of a Monday holiday.
  • No need to wait for the mail carrier to deliver your payment.
  • Reduces the operating cost of manually handling a paper check for your administrative, accounting or management staff.

Register for EFT today! Simply log on to the provider secure portal on the Blue Cross of Idaho Web site at and complete an EFT agreement located under ‘Remittance Information.' Please complete the EFT registration form in its entirety. The bank verification process takes a minimum of 10 business days to complete before you will begin receiving EFT payments.

If you have questions regarding the website, remits or EFT, please contact your provider relations representative (PAP100).

Note: To enroll in EFT or access your remittance advices, you must be registered on the Blue Cross of Idaho Web site and have your user I.D. and password.
