Our provider administrative policies contain information regarding claims submission, reimbursement, and other information in order to achieve an efficient relationship with our providers. These policies are not an authorization or explanation of benefits. Blue Cross of Idaho retains the right to add to, delete from and otherwise modify this policy in accordance with our provider contracts


Adding Provider to an Existing Practice

If your clinic has signed a contract under your current tax number, to add a provider to your clinic, complete a Provider Information required as outlined under the "Provider Packet", "Contracting" link for the provider type joining your practice. Submit via email or fax number noted on the "Provider Packet" page.

NOTE:  If you are unsure whether or not you have a clinic contract, contact your provider representative to verify (see PAP100). If you do not have a clinic contract, your provider representative will request a contract be sent to you by email.
